PRAWNS VARUVAL

 INGREDIENTS:-

  1. Prawns               1 cup  
  2. Chilly powder      2 tsp
  3. Dhania powder    3 tsp
  4. Ginger-garlic       1 tbsp
  5. Turmeric             1 tsp
  6. Salt                    1 tsp
  7. Lemon juice        1 tbsp
FOR GRINDING:-
  1. Small onion            10
  2. Green chilies          5
FOR SEASONING:-
  1. Mustard seeds       1 tsp
  2. Urad dhal              1 tsp
  3. Curry leaves          handful

METHOD:-

  1. Wash and discard the intestine, soak in the salted water for 5 minutes.
  2. Grind masala to a smooth paste, heat oil, add seasoning, splutter mustard seeds, frt the dhal, and curry leaves.
  3. Add the masala paste, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and fry till good aroma comes out.
  4. Add chilly powder, turmeric, salt, dhania and fry until the oil separates from masala.
  5. Now add the prawns and fry on high heat for 1 minute, then reduce the flame and cook on a low heat for 3 minutes.
  6. Prawns should coat the masala and look dry.
  7. Serve hot with chapati, hot rice, it tastes yummy.
