- Rice flour 3 cups
- Urad dhal flour 1/4 cup
- Salt 2 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder 1 tbsp
- Water 1/2 cup
- Hing 1/4 tsp
- Roasted gram 2 tbsp
- Butter 1/4 cup
- Curry leaves few cut into pieces
- Oil for frying
METHOD:-
- For urad dhal powder, fry 1/4 cup urad dhal and powder.
- Except oil mix all the ingredients to a dough.
- Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
- Make small balls out of the dough.
- Take a plastic cover, place one ball on the left side of the cover.
- Close the other side of the cover, and flatten the ball.
- Heat oil to a piping hot, reduce the flame.
- Drop one by one, fry on low heat, once fried the vadas will come up.
- Turn on the other side and fry till crisp.
- Heat oil again and reduce the flame and drop the vadas.
- Cooldown completely, Serve as evening snacks.
