INGREDIENTS:-
- Raw banana 1
- Water 5 cups
- Turmeric 1 tsp
FOR MIXING:-
- Onion 1
- Green chilies 5
- Curry leaves few
- Coriander leaves handful
- Salt 1 tsp
- Ginger 1/4"
- Garlic 5
- Garam masala 1 tsp
- Cut raw banana with skin into 8 pieces long.
- Boil water, add banana pieces and cook for 3 minutes and drain water completely.
- Peel the skin and mash it to a smooth paste.
- Cut onion, chilies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, and garlic to small pieces.
- Add the cut ingredients to the mashed banana and mix well.
- Make lemon sized balls out of it, and flatten to vada shape.
- Heat oil to a piping hot and drop the raw banana and reduce the flame and fry.
- Fry until crisp an both sides to light or dark in color, as you wish
