CURRY LEAVES, MASALA BHAJJI

INGREDIENTS:-

  1. Raw Banana               1 big
FOR BHAJJI MIX:-
  1. Bengal gram flour       2 cups
  2. Rice flour                    2 tbsp
  3. Salt                              11/2 tsp
  4. Soda                             1/2 tsp
  5. Water                           3/4 cup
  6. Hing                             1/4 tsp
FOR GRINDING:-
  1. Onion                         1
  2. Cumin powder           1 tsp
  3. Garam masala            1 tsp
  4. Curry leaves               handful
  5. Garlic                         5 flakes
  6. Ginger                        1/4"
  7. Red chilies                 5
METHOD:-
  1. Slice raw banana with the help of a slicer and soak in water.
  2. Grind the masala to a smooth paste.
  3. Mix the Bengal gram flour, salt, soda, rice flour, hing, masala paste, and water.
  4. Mix to a smooth batter, without lumps.
  5. Heat oil to a piping hot, and reduce the flame while dropping the raw banana slice.
  6. Dip the slices into the batter on both sides and drop into the hot oil and fry.
  7. Fry crisp on both sides, bajji looks dark because of curry leaves.
  8. Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
