INGREDIENTS
- Broken wheat 1 cup
- Onion 2
- Water 3 cup
- Green chilies 10
- Salt 2 tsp
- Coconut 1/4 cup
- Ginger 1/4" grated
- Lemon 1 tsp
FOR SEASONING
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp
- Urad dal 1 tsp
- Bengal gram 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves few
- Hing 1/4 tsp
- Coriander leaves handful
METHOD
- Cut onion, slit chilies chop coriander leaves, grate ginger.
- Heat oil add seasoning, splutter mustard seeds, urad dal, Bengal gram dal.
- Add onion, chilies, curry leaves and fry for a minute.
- Add water, grated ginger, salt, and lemon juice
- Stir and bring to boil, add broken wheat and stir.
- Cook on a low flame for 10 minutes, garnish with coconut, and coriander leaves.
