BHRAMI LEAVES [VALLARAI] PALYA PORIYAL


INGREDIENTS
  1. Bramhi leaves                1 bunch
  2. Tur dal  [lentils]             1/4 cup
  3. Water                              2 cups
  4. Salt                                 1 tsp
FOR SEASONING
  1. Badaga                           1 tbsp
  2. Hing                               1/4 tsp
  3. Oil                                  1 tbsp
  4. Onion                             1 cut
  5. Egg                                 2 [opt]
  6. Coconut                          1/4 cup
  7. Chilly powder                 1 tsp
  8. Turmeric                          1/2 tsp
METHOD
  • Cook Tur Dal and Brahmi leaves for 1 whistle,  Retain water for rasam.
  • Heat oil add Badaga, hing, turmeric, chilly powder.
  • Add onion and fry for a minute, add cooked dal, Brahmi leaves, and salt.
  • Fry until it dries up, add coconut and fry.
  • Beat eggs and pour, fry till eggs cooked up.
  • If you don't like eggs, just add coconut and fry.
  • Serve with Rice, Chapati.
