Tomato chutney

Ingredients

  1. Tomatoes                   6 nos
  2. Onion                        3 big
  3. Ginger                       1"
  4. Salt                            1 1/2 tsp
  5. Water                         1/4 cup
  6. Oil                             2 tbsp
  7. Red chilies                5 
  8. Coconut                    1 cup



Method

  • Heat oil in a Kadai, add red chilies and fry.
  • Then add onion and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add ginger, salt, tomatoes mix, and cook.
  • Close the lid cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  • Finally add the coconut and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Spread on a plate to cool and grind to a smooth paste.
  • Serve with any dosa, idlies it tastes yummy.
