- Quinoa 1 cup
- Onion 1 chopped
- Tomato 1 chopped
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala 1 tsp
- Ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp
- Groundnut handful
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
- Lemon 1 tbsp
- Water 1/2 cups
- Salt 3/4 tsp
For seasoning
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- Urad dhal 1/2 tsp
- Bengal gram dhal 1 tsp
- Asafoetida 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves little
Method
- Roast quinoa without oil in a pan and cool it.
- Heat oil in a Kadai add seasonings and groundnut to it.
- Add onion green chilies fry for 1 minute.
- Then add ginger -garlic and tomato fry for a while.
- Add salt, turmeric, lemon, and water.
- Boil and finally add quinoa mix thoroughly.
- Cook on low flame for 15 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with chutney and raitha.
