Ingredients
- Bengal gram flour 1 cup
- Rice flour 1/2 cup
- Cornflour 2 tbsp
- Chilly powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Soda a pinch
- Water 2 or 3 tbsp
- Onion 3 sliced
- Green chilies 6 cut into small pieces
- Curry leaves few cut into pieces
- Oil for frying
Method
- In a bowl add all the flours, salt, chilly powder,
- Heat oil and add 1 tbsp of oil to the flour.
- Mix well and sprinkle water with soda.
- Add onion, chilies, curry leaves.
- It should be a thick paste.
- Take a handful of dough and put little by little into the hot oil.
- Deep fry till crisp on medium flame.
- Serve hot with chutney, sauce.
