Ladies finger poriyal, palya

INGREDIENTS
  1. Ladies finger                 500 gms
  2. Onion                             1 big
  3. Curd                               2 tbsp
  4. Salt                                 1 tsp
  5. Chilly powder                1 tsp
  6. Coconut                         3 tbsp grated
  7. Coriander leaves           little
For seasoning
  1. Mustard seeds               1 tsp
  2. Urad dal                        1/2 tsp
  3. Bengal gram                  1 tsp
  4. Curry leaves                  little
  5. Oil                                 2 tbsp
  6. Hing                              1/4 tsp
Method
  • Cut ladies finger, onion, coriander leaves.
  • Heat oil in an iron Kadai, dal, and splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add curry leaves, hing, and onion.
  • Fry till translucent and add ladies finger, salt.
  • Fry for 1 minute then add curd to it.
  • Cook on a low heat with closed lid.
  • Fry for 2 minutes until the curd evaporates.
  • The vegetable also get cooked. 
  • Now add chilly powder, coconut and fry well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
