Green Kofta Curry

Ingredients

FOR GREEN GRAVY

  1. 1/4            curd
  2. 1                 onion chopped
  3. 1 tsp          ginger- garlic paste
  4. 1 tsp           salt
  5. 1/4 tsp       turmeric
  6. 3                 green chilies
  7. 1                  tomato chopped
 For seasoning
  1. 2 cardamom
  2. curry leaves
  3. 1 tbsp ghee
For grinding
  1. Handful            mint leaves
  2. Handful           coriander leaves
  3. 1 tsp                  fennel seeds
  4. 1 tsp                  jeera seeds
  5. 1 tsp                 khus-khus
  6. 1/2 cup            grated coconut
Method
  • Grind to a smooth paste. 
  • Heat ghee add seasoning and chilies.
  • Add onion, tomato,ginger-garlic, and turmeric mix.
  • And fry a while and add curd, 
  • Ground masala paste to it, and water. 
  • Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
For koftas
  1. 2 nos       boiled potatoes
  2. 2 nos       boiled carrots
  3. 2nos        boiled cabbage leaves
  4. 1/4tsp     salt
  5. 1/4 tsp    garam masala
  6. 1 tbsp      cornflour
  • Mash vegetables and mix all and deep fry in oil.
  • Add koftas to curry.
  • Serve with veg rice.
