Bread dosa

Ingredient

  1. Bread                       4 slice
  2. Wheat flour             1 cup
  3. Salt                          1/2 tsp
  4. Water                       1 cup
  5. Onion                       1 chopped
  6. Green chilies            4 chopped
  7. Curry leaves             3 chopped
  8. Coriander leaves      little chopped
For seasoning
  1. Mustard seeds           1/2 tsp
  2. Urad dal                    1/2 tsp
  3. Bengal gram              1/2 tsp
  4. Asafoetida                 1/4 tsp
  5. Oil                             1 tbsp + for roasting     
Method
  • Mix wheat flour, salt, and water to a smooth paste without lumps.
  • Add water if necessary. Heat oil in a Kadai, add seasoning.
  • Splutter mustard and add urad, bengal gram dal.
  • Add onion, chilies, curry leaves and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add the fried onion mixer to the wheat flour.
  • Mix them well and heat away. Grease some oil.
  • Cut the bread slice into 2 parts.
  • Dip the cut bread in batter on both sides and place on the hot tawa.
  • Roast on both sides until crisp.
  • Serve with chutney, ketchup.
