SAMBAR POWDER--1
INGREDIENTS
- Coriander seeds 1 cup
- Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
- Tur Dal 1 cup
- Urad dal 1 tsp
- Rice 1 tsp
- Curry leaves handful
- Cinnamon 1"
- Cloves 5
- Red chilies 10
- Salt 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida 1 tsp
METHOD
- Dry fry the above ingredients till rice puffs up.[except salt]
- Fry curry leaves till crisp.
- Powder adding salt. Preserve in an airtight container.
