PLANTAIN FLOWER BAJJI

INGREDIENTS

  1. Plantain flowerets           20 long one
  2. Bajji mix powder             1 cup
  3. Water                                1/2 cup+ 1 cup
  4. Cornflour                          1 tbsp
  5. Oil                                    for frying
METHOD
  • Boil the flowers in 1 cup of water for 1 minute adding salt.
  • Drain the water completely, and cool it.
  • Heat oil, mix the bajji flour and cornflour with 1/2 cup of water.
  • Dip the flowerets one by one and drop into the hot oil.
  • Reduce the flame and fry till crisp.
  • Serve hot with chutney or plain.
