White chutney

Ingredients

  1. Coconut                  1 cup
  2. Roasted gram          5 tbsp
  3. Green chilies           5
  4. Ginger                     1/4"
  5. Garlic                      3 flakes
  6. Salt                         1 tsp
  7. Water                      1/2 cup
For seasoning
  1. Oil                         1 tbsp
  2. Mustard seeds       1 tsp
  3. Urad dal                1/2 tsp
  4. Bengal gram dal   1/2 tsp
  5. Curry leaves          few
  6. Asafoetida            1/4 tsp
Method
  • Grind coconut, roasted gram, ginger, garlic, salt, chilies, and water.
  • Grind to a coarse paste. Add seasoning, splutter mustard, fry Curry leaves till crisp.
  • Mix well and serve with any breakfast or snacks.
