White chutney
Ingredients
- Coconut 1 cup
- Roasted gram 5 tbsp
- Green chilies 5
- Ginger 1/4"
- Garlic 3 flakes
- Salt 1 tsp
- Water 1/2 cup
For seasoning
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp
- Urad dal 1/2 tsp
- Bengal gram dal 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves few
- Asafoetida 1/4 tsp
Method
- Grind coconut, roasted gram, ginger, garlic, salt, chilies, and water.
- Grind to a coarse paste. Add seasoning, splutter mustard, fry Curry leaves till crisp.
- Mix well and serve with any breakfast or snacks.
