Ingredients
- Ladies finger 12 cut
- Onion 1 chopped
- Tomato 1 chopped
- Tamarind water 1/2 cup
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Sambar powder 1 tbsp
- Jeera powder 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Curry leaves 5 or 6
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- Urad gram 1/2 tsp
- Bengal gram 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves little
- Roasted gram flour 1 tsp
- Salt 1 1/2 tsp
- Water 2 cups
Method
- Heat oil in a Kadai add seasoning and curry leaves.
- Add onion and fry till translucent.
- Fry tomato and mash them well.
- Add ladies fingers and fry till the vegetables separate from each other.
- Now sprinkle turmeric, sambar powder, coriander, jeera powder, and roasted gram powder.
- Mix well add salt and tamarind and water.
- Cook for 15 minutes and simmer till it thickens.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with chapati and rice.
