Coconut milk for appam, idiyappam


Ingredients

  1. Coconut                  1 big
  2. Water                      4 cups
  3. Sugar                      1 cup
  4. Cardamom              6 powdered
  5. Salt                         1/4 tsp
Method
  • Grate coconut add 1 cup of water and grind.
  • Squeeze the milk from it.
  • Again add another cup of milk and grind.
  • Squeeze the second milk.
  • Add another cup of water and grind.
  • Squeeze the third milk.
  • Add sugar, cardamom powder, salt and stir
  • Add another cup of water. if it thick.
  • Serve with Apam, idiyappam, white gulittu.
