Ingredients
- Urad dhal -1 cup
- Green chilly -2 nos
- Onion -1 big chopped
- Bengal gram -1 tsp
- Idly rice -1 tsp
- Curry leaves -4
- Coriander leaves -handful
- Pepper powder -1/4 tsp
- Salt -11/2 tsp
- Oil -for frying
Method
- Soak urad dhal, Bengal gram, rice for 2 hours.
- Chop onion, green chilies, curry leaves, coriander leaves.
- Grind urad dal to a smooth paste add salt.
- Keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Add chopped ingredients mix well.
- Heat oil and take 1 spoonful of mix.
- On left-hand palm take a plastic sheet.
- Spread urad dhal mix and make a hole in the middle.
- Fry one by one till it turns golden brown.
- Serve with sambar or chutney.
